We were there.
And not only yesterday, but also during the construction work in the years 2023 – 2025. The ceremonial opening of the I/34 Lišov – Vranín road took place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at noon. Information about this important road construction was gradually provided to us by the Minister of Transport Martin Kupka, the General Director of the ŘSD Radek Mátl, the Director of the SFDI Zbyněk Hořelica, the Governor of the South Bohemian Region Martin Kuba, the Mayor of the City of Lišov Pavel Dvořák and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the contractor Zdeněk Babka.
The contractor, the company M - SILNICE a.s. built this nine-kilometer road section, specifically 9.510 meters, which, starting from Wednesday's heavy traffic, will significantly relieve the city of Lišov of the passage of 15,000 vehicles per day, in 29 months. The construction includes 9 bridge structures, 2 intersections, 2 noise barriers, 2 retaining walls, 7 water management structures.
In cooperation with the project manager Otakar Hasík, we delivered 250,000 tons of crushed aggregate from the Ševětín quarry to the mentioned section. And we are still continuing to deliver aggregate to the connecting road structures.
Not only that.
Even in the black asphalt layers that we drive on, there is our gray stone, crushed stone from the Kobylí Hora quarry in the amount of 70,000 tons. We thank the contractor, the buyer for the business cooperation and for the trust shown, which we have strengthened.
We wish all users of this newly opened section many peaceful kilometers there and back, safe and without accidents.
