Stone Quarry 'Plešovice'The stone quarry of Plešovice supplies the Český Krumlov and České Budějovice regions with gravel aggregate and it belongs to the largest stone quarries in the Czech Republic. We constantly minimize the mining environmental consequences via the investments into the environmental ecology programs.
Location:
7 km northeast of 'Český Krumlov' - map.
Transportation Options:
Road trucks, railroad – own siding track (daily capacity of 900 tons).
Raw Material:
Granulite of gray color, known for frequent occurrence of garnet, known for rare occurrence of tourmaline and biotite.
Annual Production Capacity:
800 thousand tons.
Stone Quarry Technological Equipment:
Three levels of crushing: DCJ10 (1,600 x 1,250), soil remover, Sandvik H6800, Svedala H3000, Nordberg HP200, automatic mixing equipment for gravel according to the designated grain size distribution curve (MHG).
Product Line:
Complete product line of crushed gravel aggregate and quarry run stone.
Usage:
Compacted asphalt layers, grinding layers, bed layers, supporting layers, poured asphalt, gravel aggregate bonded by hydraulic cement, unagglutinated layers, penetrated layers, pressed layers, sprays and paints, emulsion sludge layers, winter road gritting, iron concrete, pre-tensioned concrete, cement-concrete road covers.
Railroad track ballasts. ČD Certificate for fractions 32/63 (B I) and 0/32 (kv).
Quarry run stone, construction stone for foundation walls, bridge pillars, supporting and retaining walls, coast supporting stone, gabion wall stone.
Railroad gravel 16/31.5 and 31.5/63.
